Can I transfer a pet to another account?

Yes, and there are two separate transfers: ownership (who manages the pet and invites people) and billing (who pays the subscription). They do not have to be the same person. Neither applies on its own: the other person gets a request and has 7 days to accept. They must already be a guardian of the pet.

1. 1In the left-hand bar, open General Info
2. 2Scroll to the Guardians card and click the Options menu on that person’s row.
3. 3A centered modal opens with their name and role. Under Transfers you get both options: Make them the owner and Hand over the payment.
4. 4Hand over the payment only appears if that person can pay — they have edit access or are an owner — and is not already the billing owner.
5. 5Each transfer has its own confirmation, and both tell you what will happen rather than asking if you are sure. Ownership reads: “Nothing changes yet: they get a request and decide. If they accept, they manage Rocky and you stay as a co-tutor.” The billing one says the pet moves onto the other person’s subscription from the next charge, and that they see the price when they accept.
6. 6Send the request. While it is pending you see it on the same card under Pending transfers, and you can cancel it with the ✕. Esc closes the modal.
