PowPaw Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your data is SHURA CAPITAL LLC, a Delaware company, USA, with its address at 1934 Wilson St, Hollywood, FL 33020, USA, owner of PowPaw. For any privacy question: support@powpaw.app.
2. What data we process

We don't ask for sensitive data about you. We ask that you don't add it in notes, chats or files.
3. How we use it

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with advertisers. We also don't use it to train AI models, and our AI providers can't use it for that.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run PowPaw. They act on our behalf and under contract:

People you choose. If you share a pet or create a link, anyone with access can see those records.
Authorities. Only when the law requires it, in response to a valid request.
Change of control. If SHURA CAPITAL LLC sells or transfers PowPaw, your data passes to the new owner under this same policy, with prior notice.
5. Where it's stored
Your data is stored on Supabase servers in Brazil (São Paulo). The other providers process it mainly in the USA. The PowPaw team operates from Argentina and accesses the data from there to provide support and maintain the service.
This involves international data transfers. We make them with providers that offer contractual protection safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, when the law of your country requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- While your account is active.
- If your trial or subscription expires and you don't choose a plan, we keep your data for 15 days after expiration. After that we permanently delete it, including the pets you were the payment owner for.
- If you delete your account, we delete your data immediately. Backups are deleted automatically within 7 days.
- We keep longer only what the law requires us to keep, such as billing records, and only for that purpose.
- When you delete your account, only pets for which you are the account owner are considered: if another pet parent has the papi/mami role, the account ownership and records transfer to that person; otherwise, they are deleted. Deleting your account as a co-parent does not delete someone else's pet. Paying alone does not give you account ownership or determine which pet is deleted.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, permission-based access control, audit logs and restricted team access with two-factor authentication. No system is foolproof: if an incident affects your data, we'll notify you, and the authorities when the law requires it.
8. Your rights
You can ask at any time to:
- Access your data and receive a copy in a portable format.
- Correct or complete it.
- Delete it, by deleting your account in the app or at powpaw.app/delete-account.
- Object to a use or ask us to restrict it.
- Withdraw your consent to receive news, without affecting what was done before.
To exercise these rights, email us at support@powpaw.app. We respond within 30 days, or within any shorter period set by the law of your country. If you're not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Users in Argentina. The AGENCIA DE ACCESO A LA INFORMACIÓN PÚBLICA, as the supervisory authority under Law No. 25,326, has the power to handle complaints and claims from anyone whose rights are affected by a breach of the data protection rules in force.
9. Minors
PowPaw isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you know that a minor has given us their data, email us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date of the last update appears at the top.
