How do I invite a co-guardian?
A co-guardian joins read-only: they see the whole medical history but cannot add or delete anything until you grant edit access. Up to 5 people per pet, counting owners and pending invites.
Where are you doing this?
- 1In the left-hand bar, open General Info
- 2Scroll to the Guardians card and click Invite
- 3The Invite guardian dialog opens, centered on screen. Type the person’s email.
- 4Pick the Role: Mom or Dad for an additional owner (max 2 owners), or Guardian for anyone else.
- 5Permission is preset by role — a guardian joins Read only, an additional Mom or Dad Can edit. Change it if you want, then hit Send invite.
- 6It sits in the list as a Pending invite until they accept. The trash icon on the right cancels it.
If the email does not arrive
It may land in spam. Cancel the invite with the trash icon and invite again: you cannot edit the email on an invite that is already out. If the counter reads 5/5, remove someone before adding anyone.
